"I really like the variety of acoustical consulting: each project comes with interesting clients and unique challenges. It is really cool to see how far the principles of good acoustics apply!"

Kristen Murphy is an acoustician with over 11 years of consulting experience specializing in architectural acoustics, mechanical systems noise and vibration control, and environmental noise. As both an acoustical consultant and expert in sustainability, she spearheads Acentech’s integration of green building design across our multiple market sectors and furthers the firm’s commitment to advancing human health and wellness in buildings. She assists design teams and clients in incorporating acoustic-related sustainability and wellness requirements (including LEED, WELL, CHPS, and more) across a broad range of building types. With her architectural training, Kristen’s interest in sustainability and the built environment has been a core thread of her AEC industry experience.
