Mark Harlan

Senior Consultant

Mark Harlan
“I deeply enjoy the ability to straddle the technical, quantitative science and engineering aspects of acoustics, as well as the more qualitative and creative aspects of understanding sound subjectively and communicating that to folks from a wide array of backgrounds.”

Mark Harlan is a Senior Consultant in Acentech’s Architectural Acoustics group. He consults on a range of project types, including performing arts spaces, recording studios, higher education and K-12 facilities, and museums. He provides recommendations for room acoustics, sound isolation, and mechanical noise and vibration control. He conducts acoustical measurements, modeling, calculation development, design charrette coordination, submittal and RFI coordination, as well as on-site construction administration and commissioning.

Sounds Far Out
