"I originally heard about Acentech from a current employee, and applied due to my interest in consulting. During my interview, I loved how friendly and welcoming the atmosphere was, and how much each employee cared about their work. It was somewhere I knew I’d be proud to begin my career."

Ethan Casavant is a member of Acentech’s Architectural Acoustics group. He consults on various projects involving commercial, residential, higher education, K-12, healthcare, and lab facilities. His areas of concentration include environmental and HUD-related noise evaluations, room shaping, sound isolation, and mechanical systems noise and vibration control. Ethan enjoys finding creative solutions to challenging and unique acoustical problems. He has experience with a variety of software platforms including Odeon, Matlab, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Solidworks.

Ethan has studied martial arts for 15 years and he holds a black belt in Shotokan Karate-Do. When not at work, some of Ethan’s hobbies include singing and vocal percussion with Boston-area a cappella group Vinyl Street, woodworking, rock climbing and hiking. He is currently experimenting with making guitars from scratch!
