E.I.T.

Senior Consultant

Colin Worrich Headshot
"To some people, the word ‘acoustician’ is synonymous with ‘magician.’ I like the fact that every day I get to quantify the characteristics of sound, something that we can’t see and usually only talk about in very abstract terms."

Colin Worrich is a Senior Consultant who collaborates on a wide variety of project types, from performing arts spaces, educational and institutional buildings, to commercial and residential facilities. His areas of concentration include architectural acoustics, mechanical systems noise and vibration control, and environmental acoustics. Colin is an active member of the Acoustical Society of America (ASA), the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE-USA), and the ACE Mentorship Program.

Compose Yourself

Where can you find Colin when he’s not conducting field tests or providing acoustical recommendations? “When I’m not at work I’m even more of a nerd — I compose music, play trombone, and write movie reviews. I also enjoy taking hiking trips with friends, watching sports, and playing golf with my Dad.”

Exciting update: Colin was the winner of the 2018 Allentown Symphony Orchestra’s ‘Pictures at an Exhibition‘ composition competition! Colin, you do us proud!
