“When trying to decide what to study in college, I was fortunate to find a program in engineering acoustics that would allow me to combine my love of musical performance with the technical aspects of audio. At Acentech, I have been able to continue these two passions in a career as an audiovisual system design consultant with a group of like-minded and talented people. ”
Brian Masiello is a senior consultant concentrating on sound and audiovisual system design. He has been involved in a wide variety of projects that have required design and documentation of sound reinforcement and audiovisual presentation systems. Project types include audio recording and broadcast studios, auditoria, gymnasia, lecture halls, film/video screening rooms, worship spaces, courtrooms, technical theaters, performing arts centers, corporate facilities, cruise ships, fitness facilities, arenas, and museum spaces. Brian routinely coordinates the sound and audiovisual systems design of a project with the project architect, MEP engineer, and structural engineer. He has guest lectured on topics regarding sound system design and acoustics at the Berklee School of Music and Boston Architectural College.
