Remote Monitoring Features and Specifications

Engineering Precision, Remotely Deployed

Acentech’s remote noise and vibration monitoring systems offer high-fidelity, real-time data acquisition for both noise and vibration, customizable for each complex environment and unique project needs.

Below, we outline the technical specifications and integration capabilities of our systems.

Sensor Types

Vibration
  • Seismic Accelerometers – Useful for micro-vibrations
    • Ultra-low noise floor
    • Typical frequency range: 0.1 Hz to 400 Hz
  • Medium Sensitivity Accelerometers – General vibration sensing
    • Low noise floor
    • Typical frequency range: 1 Hz to 2 kHz
  • Lightweight Accelerometers – Measurement on lightweight or fragile items
    • Higher vibration capability, higher noise floor
    • Typical frequency range: 1 Hz to 10 kHz
  • Triaxial Measurement Options
    • Combination of three accelerometers
    • Triaxial geophone, velocity sensor
Sound
  • ½” Condenser Microphones – General sound measurements
    • Low noise floor
    • Sound pressure limit near 120 dB
    • Typical frequency range: 5 Hz to 20 kHz
  • ¼” Condenser Microphones – High sound level or ultrasonic measurements
    • Slightly higher noise floor
    • Sound pressure limit near 140 dB
    • Typical frequency range: 10 Hz to 100 kHz
  • Hydrophone – Underwater measurements
    • Use in water with moderate sensitivity, use in air with low sensitivity
    • Typical frequency range: 1 Hz to 100 kHz
Class 1 Compliant Sound Level Meter
  • ANSI S1.4 Type 1 compliance
  • IEC 61672 Class 1 compliance
  • Frequency range: 12.5 Hz to 20 kHz
Dust & Air Quality

For projects that also require air quality and dust monitoring, Acentech partners with Environmental Health & Engineering (EH&E) to offer a comprehensive, integrated solution. With over a decade of collaboration, our partnership delivers real-time monitoring programs that seamlessly incorporate project management, stakeholder communication, data analysis, and reporting.
