Audiovisual Consultant | Cambridge | Hybrid Position

Acentech, a multi-disciplinary consulting firm specializing in Audiovisual, ICT/Telecommunications, Security, Acoustics, and Vibration, is hiring a consultant-level Audiovisual consultant. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the success of projects that span a wide range of markets, including performing arts, science and technology, commercial, environmental, industrial, healthcare and education. You will be responsible for assisting with the design and documentation of AV systems and will perform this work along with the oversight and assistance from senior staff. The hybrid position is located in our Cambridge, MA office with a flexible schedule.

Salary – $70,000 – $83,000

The ideal candidate has:

• Approximately 1 – 5 years’ experience in the professional Audiovisual industry (or applicable related experience)
• System drafting, documentation, and design experience,
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and clients,
• Proactive instincts (i.e. is self-motivated), with an ability to work both in teams and independently, on multiple projects simultaneously,
• AVIXA CTS certification preferred,
• EASE modeling experience a plus.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Be proficient with AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam software,
• Collaborate with CAD department staff on projects, and assist with the company’s drafting standards efforts,
• Participate in client meetings, project meetings, and produce meeting notes,
• Assist with Bid and Construction Administration related tasks.
