Andrea Regli

Consultant

Andy Regli-Acentech
“I love working with the unseen but deeply important aspects of infrastructure that affect our daily lives. Once I tell people about my work, they spring into stories of places they wish sounded better.”

Andy Regli is a consultant in Acentech’s Building Acoustics group, contributing to educational, residential, performing arts, and commercial facilities. Her responsibilities include performing on-site measurements, creating acoustic models, and analyzing architectural documents to develop design recommendations. Outside of work, Andy is a vocalist with classical, jazz, pop, and theatrical training. She also plays multiple musical instruments and has a keen interest in songwriting and visual design.

Sound Partner

“My focus on spaces, sound, and their effects on us has followed me throughout my life. I listened as my mother, who is deaf on one side, struggled in loud restaurants and was left out of conversation. As a performer, sound engineer, and composer, I listened to how sound shifted as I sang in different spaces; learned how to adjust for live performances versus studio recordings; and learned how to make the acoustics of a space an instrument in my music.”
