"People usually only think about what they’re hearing when they really like or dislike it, but our auditory environment is constantly affecting us. I enjoy knowing that my work is improving people’s quality of life, especially when they don’t realize it."

With his combined musical and recording arts background, Alex brings a refined ear to his acoustical consulting role. He has over five years of acoustical consulting experience, and more than three years providing all aspects of project management from planning and facility assessment studies, to design recommendations and documentation in the areas of room shaping, sound isolation, and mechanical systems noise and vibration control. His portfolio includes a variety of educational, office, commercial, and performing arts building types, as well as recording studios.

Alex is bilingual, and grew up speaking German to his father and English to his mother. He also enjoys playing soccer, going hiking, and attending concerts when he is not at work.
