Zeman A+D board announcement

Acentech is pleased to announce that John Zeman, LEED AP, BD+C, Acoustics Principal and Los Angeles Office Lead, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Architecture+Design (A+D) Museum in Los Angeles, California.

Zeman is a multidimensional acoustician with a distinctive background spanning acoustic science, audiovisual systems, information technology, and sound engineering. With more than 20 years of consulting experience, his work includes project leadership in building acoustics, noise ordinance compliance, and field constructability resolution. He has collaborated with world-class architectural design firms, as well as clients in the aviation and entertainment industries. Throughout his career, Zeman has maintained a strong interest in the societal and cultural impacts of noise, aligning closely with the museum’s mission to explore how design shapes everyday life.

Founded in 2001, the A+D Museum examines the complex relationship between architecture, urban design, and the public realm. Its annual Design Awards program recognizes designers and firms that transcend traditional boundaries, set new standards of excellence, and foster interdisciplinary exchange.
