What I’m Listening to Now
“I enjoy the unique problems that we get to solve and the variety from day to day. Working on projects ranging from wastewater treatment facility vibrations and machines to designing performance spaces and concert halls is a constant excitement.”
Jack Briskie recently joined Acentech’s Noise and Vibration group in its Cambridge, MA office. He works primarily on vibration, environmental and industrial projects, but has a wide range of experience and enjoys challenges of varying project types, from vibration site surveys and wastewater engineering to performing arts spaces. Jack manages sound and vibration field measurements, writes technical reports, and creates acoustical computer models for a variety of markets.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Hartford with a B.S.Eng. degree in Acoustical Engineering and Music. Jack is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical Engineering.
“My biggest hobby is probably playing Ultimate Frisbee, I usually travel at least a few times a year around the country to tournaments, as well as playing for a local team in the summer.”
