| This 2,000-seat theatre is the centerpiece of the University of Puerto Rico Campus. Built in the late 1930s, it was renovated with considerations for audience visibility, comfort, and acoustics. Studio A designed state-of-the-art technical production systems and support spaces. Architectural acoustics enhancements included upgrades to the interior finishes, improved sound isolation, engineering the air conditioning system for quieter operations, the addition of an orchestra shell and forestage, and acoustical recommendations for a new pipe organ. |
