Acentech provided acoustics and mechanical systems noise and vibration control consulting for the 45,000 SF Patel Conservatory and TECO Theater at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, the largest performing arts complex south of the Kennedy Center. We worked with the architects to design sound isolating constructions, and to specify finishes and other room design details to promote good listening conditions for teaching, rehearsal, and performance. Further, we worked with mechanical engineers to design HVAC systems that meet stringent goals for quiet background sound levels.
