The stately 1888 Georgian Revival building, home of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals for more than a century, was recently transformed into a modern, up-to-date facility that features a new 272-seat theater, a rehearsal room on the top level that is the same size as the stage, dressing rooms, orchestra pit, and prop shop. We designed the new sound system and consulted on architectural acoustics, sound isolation between spaces and mechanical system noise and vibration control. We also monitored construction noise and made recommendations for mechanical system noise to remain within the City of Cambridge noise code.
