Jeff Zapfe, Vibration Control
Jeff specializes in structural dynamics, transportation vibration and vibration control. His expertise is used to mitigate the impact of environmental vibration on performing arts center projects. Recently, Jeff participated in the Alice Tully Hall renovation at Lincoln Center, helping to reduce vibration from an adjacent subway. He also worked on the stage floor replacement at Boston Symphony Hall to ensure that the new and old floors have comparable dynamic properties. Jeff is a patron of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the American Repertory Theater. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a M.A.Sc. and a B.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto.
