 | Carl Rosenberg, Architectural Acoustics Carl's professional and personal interests have been intertwined with performance spaces throughout his career. Music and singing led him into acoustics after training as an architect at M.I.T., and he has been consulting on a variety of types of performance spaces including multi-purpose halls (University of Florida), music schools (Eastman School of Music, Berklee College of Music, and Westchester University), recital halls (College of New Jersey), and related drama facilities (Indiana University Ruth Halls Theater, Berlind Theater at Princeton, and others). From his wide experience, Carl's consulting focus stresses the interconnected needs of room acoustics, mechanical system noise control, sound isolation, and practical program and budget needs-all of which affect the acoustical success of a design. Carl teaches architectural acoustics at M.I.T. and is active in professional acoustical organizations. Carl holds B.A. from Princeton and Masters in Architecture from M.I.T.
