How Acentech's RH Lyon Division Works with Clients

The RH Lyon Division of Acentech is solely a provider of services, focusing on noise and vibration solutions for product manufacturers and industry. Since product designs and market position are major assets of our clients, it is important that we operate to protect and enhance our clients' interests and property. Accordingly, we have established a number of practices:

• As a services company, we do not manufacture or sell products, and we do not intend to. Companies that offer services that are tied to a product may find they have a conflict of interest when recommending their own product for helping solve a client noise or vibration problem. We avoid this situation.
• We protect the proprietary rights of our clients. Any proprietary information obtained during a project with a client is never divulged to outside parties. We also do not divulge the names of our clients without permission.
• Prior to initiation of a funded project, we request that our clients sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement. Our agreement contains standard clauses, but occasionally a client's attorney will make an unusual request. In these cases, we have the client's clause or agreement reviewed by our attorney before signing it.
• We will support the patent efforts undertaken by a client based on the work we have done for that client. This support is provided at our normal billing rates. All patent rights that issue from such efforts are available to the client. The holder of the patent and royalties (if any) are subject to negotiation.
• We never exceed the amount authorized on any purchase order without the written permission of our client.
