The project is a ground breaking facility combining childcare, research, teaching, and community services into a technology enhanced environment. Acentech’s information technology design includes complete remote control cameras in several research labs and solid state recording systems with distributed high quality editing capabilities for instructors and production personnel. Server based distribution to the education community is linked to instructors and production services. Tie-lines provide direct broadcast capabilities through the campus media services and state network. Facilities for videoconferencing and classroom presentations are also included.
