Scheduled to be operational in 2011, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will include a multi-specialty tertiary center and adjacent clinic. The hospital will be a unique and unparalleled extension of the Cleveland Clinic model, providing a spectrum of specialty services that are designed to cater to the healthcare needs of Abu Dhabi and the region.

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will be a 360-bed (scalable to 490), multi-specialty facility located on Al Sowa Island in the UAE, across from the Abu Dhabi Mall. One of the main objectives of the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is to meet the needs of patients who currently travel abroad for treatment. Both local and international patients will receive world-class care in a unique environment combining “seven star” amenities and service standards with the highest quality patient care.

It will be a physician-led medical facility served by United States trained and board certified physicians. Medical professionals working at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi will receive on-going training directly from the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Acentech’s consulting services include audiovisual system design to provide the remote learning needs of this world class facility. Acentech’s audiovisual consulting services will include a comprehensive package of component spaces -- a 220-seat auditorium/multimedia room, a large divisible conference room, a training and simulation center, and in-patient care information/entertainment systems. In addition to these primary components, audiovisual designs will be implemented for numerous seminar rooms, classrooms, labs, and public gathering spaces.
