F-22 Acceptance Testing Environmental AssessmentDobbins Air Force Base ![]() Acentech assessed the environmental noise impacts for the subsonic and supersonic acceptance tests of the F-22 fighter after final assembly at Dobbins AFB in Marrietta, Georgia. The analysis included the addition of 591 operations per year, preflight, and ground run-up tests. We provided the noise and sonic boom analysis for the project; developed a methodology for assessing the noise impacts and to determine existing noise levels; recommended applicable noise criteria; modeled the noise from subsonic and supersonic F-22 aircraft flights; and prepared the noise sections for the environmental assessment. Acentech also updated the modeling associated with the existing Air Installation Compatible Land Use Zone (AICUZ). |
