Since 1999 when Novo Nordisk started its first headquarters in the United States, they have continued to grow each year. The Danish diabetes and pharmaceutical company needed to expand their space and provide their multi-disciplinary project teams with a central place to come together to accomplish their business goals. The new Headquarters and Product Launch Suite provide the staff members from Denmark and other locations across the United States the ability to meet at one location based in Princeton to discuss critical/special projects.

The 2,200 SF Launch Suite provides a specifically designed common meeting place. It contains state-of-the-art equipment that helps the staff to discuss and implement the project goals.

To serve a growing market, Novo Nordisk moved its North American headquarters of over 400 employees to a five-story building in New Jersey. The new building was an existing shell, and was out-fitted by the close-knit project team consisting of consultants and KlingStubbins architects, engineers and designers.

Acentech’s acoustical and audiovisual consultants reviewed the proposed design and visited the new site to observe existing conditions and understand feasibility issues arising due to existing structure, mechanical equipment and ductwork. Working with the client’s facility planners, we carefully considered the functionality of similar facilities, then clarified user expectations and preferred features for the new spaces through detailed discussions and meetings. The result was a state-of-the-art conference and training center with ample support spaces.
