Avid Technology, Inc., is a global leader of digital audio and video production solutions. The main objective for the new 203,000 sf global headquarters was to create a setting to showcase their world renowned products under “one Avid” brand, and transform both employee and client experience through a branded, functional and engaging environment.

Acentech worked Gensler architects and Avid to develop cutting edge audiovisual system designs for Avid’s striking new corporate headquarters. AV features include multiple translucent video displays for the lobby and a multi-purpose customer demonstration room with high resolution multi-projector/multi-image rear screen projection, large 3-D displays flanking the main display, surround sound, and audio and video conferencing and streaming capabilities. A multi-room training facility includes large dual displays, conferencing and streaming capacities, plus a central distribution point allowing remote control of any computer source with individual CPU control.

From the main lobby featuring glass projection screens to the demonstration rooms providing an acoustically enhanced environment, the design team’s work on the audiovisual and acoustic design allows us to present Avid products in their best light.”

Acentech’s acousticians focused on architectural acoustics and mechanical system noise and vibration control throughout the headquarters.
