This four-story facility contains two pools in the natatorium, two gymnasiums, training and weight rooms, a suspended jogging track, squash and racquetball courts. Other areas of the building include a pro-shop, student lounges, and a juice bar.

The natatorium accommodates 1,000 spectator seats. Acentech developed a sound sysyem design for spectators, as well as the swimmers via an underwater sound system.

Our consultants designed sound systems throughout the complex for competitive events and public address. One of the gyms is located directly over classrooms; this adjacency required rather unusual sound isolation constructions. We also consulted on room acoustics treatments for noise control throughout the Recreation Center.
